From all the hills and giant staircases i have in my area, my butt has become somewhat more muscular. dont ask me how i can tell. I know you were all interested.
Im sick. I guess I should be thankful that I havent been sick that much in my mission, but a cold front hit here last night and it got pretty chilly (a whopping 65 degrees). And that was enough to get me a nice cold. Anyways, my week was very slow for some reason. We were busy thank goodness, but it just dragged. The highlight would be Jesus´ baptism, which went really well. It was sort of a last minute thing so not too many member made it, but it went great. But he couldnt get his boss to let him off work the next day for his confirmation, so that still pending as of right now...
My thanksgiving went alright. I made fried-egg sandwiches for my comp and I, since that all we had in the house. Then i sat around singing christmas hymns cause my comp hates christmas (he also hates disney and hadnt eaten ice cream till his mission. no childhood) By the time he goes home i swear he will love christmas.
Not much to tell in terms of devolopments with investigators just yet. they wont come to church, and they cant progress if they dont go! But we are finding new people each week. But we did have one investigator come, who is the long time boyfriend of a less active member. He wants to get married and baptized, and she doesnt. We are starting to get her to budge, but its a slow process. She is afraid because every other marraige around her has failed and she doesnt want to regret anything. We explained that a marraige centered on Christ and the Gospel will still have its problems, but it wont fail. She still wants to wait. But funny enough, the bishop of her ward informed us that her baptismal record is missing, and that happens very rarely. its means she will have to get baptized again, but she cant if she is not living the law of chastity. It was definetly a wake up call for her, so we will see what happens.
Im coming up with nothing here. Maybe its cause my head feels twice as big as normal, but i cant recall too much else that happened this week. We have zone conference this week, and ive never been so excited for one. Mostly because i will be getting my blanket!
Well i hope everyone has a fantastic week. Oh ya, i completed a year in mexico this past week, same day as Thanksgiving. Peace everyone.
Love,
Elder Kitterman
