December 19 2011

Soooooooo, they pulled another fast one on me. I was already to be in a trio with the other disfuncitional (thats what i call our district) elders, when i recieved a call 10 minutes after Elder Jimenez and they told me i was recieving a new comp. His name is Elder Rubio from Chiuahua. He only has 3 months total in the mission, and was having some problems with his trainer so they sent him my way. He is a way cool guy, with an ever cooler accent. Soutern mexicans talk feo, and the northerns talk so freaking cool.

We finished up all our trainings we had and now are back to normal weeks just working. Things are starting to pick back up already now that Elder Jimenez is in his casita. We worked hard together, but the last few days we ended up going with all the members so he could say goodbye. Therefore, not too much got done.

Well I will be baptizing this wednesday. Its not an investigator, just an 8 year old in the ward that wanted me to baptize him. I was so surprised an excited! I always play this mexican game with him when we go over to his house. His mom is a less active who lives with a nonmember who we are teaching. I might have mentioned it beore, because he wants to get married and baptized, but she doesnt. Its frustrating, but they are one of my favorite families in this area.

I cant think of too much else to tell this week, since i will be calling next sunday. I will be calling around 5 my time. I will recheck what dad told me to see if that is too early.

We had the ward christmas activity this past week which was delicious, as well as a family home evening that turned out fantasic. There are pics attached. One is the last dinner with elder jimenez, my district, my zone, and my new comp!

Other than all that the week was normal, just my comp getting confused and lost a lot. Well sorry this is so short, but i will talk to you guys soon! Love ya
Love,

Elder Kitterman
