Did anybody see where July went? I just had it right here and now its gone. I hate that...
Before I get started, happy one year to Elder Rod and Elder Willis! Whenever I would read that Andrew or Carlos completed another month, it always seemed like the next week or so I would be right there too, so i guess that means I will be completeing a year soon? I dont know... Time just baffles me here.
Well Hermana Nuñez, the sister that lives next to us with only one leg left for the state of mexico this week =( Now whos going to make me pancakes?... Her daughter is pregnant and about to have her baby so she went to go help her. So selfish if you ask me! She is sorely missed.
So this week went fantastically well, even considering the goods weeks we have been having. We even had a baptism! It was kinda a miracle...who am i kidding, every baptism is a miracle! Its Mark, the husband of one of the more recent converts in the branch, who we have been teaching the past month. He was at one point very excited for baptism, but whe we talked to him earlier this week, he said he wants to get baptized, just not yet. Thursday night roles around and we have another lesson with him, and its the same story. But after mucho talking and scripture sharing, he accepted to be baptized saturday. His cute as can be 7 year old daughter gave the opening prayer at his baptism and melted everyones hearts. Then the baptism went extremely well.
Mexico is advertising on the TV something called "Noches de la Famalia". Its this program the president is introducing to the country where every monday night the family gets together and has activities and if wanted, religous lessons. Sound familiar? What a bunch of goobers...
So Jose and his three sons came to church again this week, which means the can get baptized this week! They are very excited about it, as am I. We will probably be doing it Sunday, due to the fact the the branch is going to the temple together on Saturday. Again i say, so selfsih...
But its going to be awesome cause the whole branch will be there.
Well things are still rolling smoothly. I feel like a lot more happened this week, but all I can think about right now is food. Im starving! No Mom, its not causing Im not eating ever, Im just hungry cause thats how I am.
Hope everyone has a great week! Take care, and remember, "have your pets spayed and nuetered!" -Bob Barker
Love,
Elder Kitterman
